Questions people often ask
Does it cost anything for my child to join?
No. Sessions are free for families. Supporters cover the cost of books, missions and guest experts.
How do you decide which stage my child joins?
A facilitator has a short reading chat with every new child. We place children by how they read rather than by age. They can move stages whenever they are ready.
What do you do with my child's details?
We keep only what we need: a first name, reading stage and a parent's contact. We follow Kenya's Data Protection Act. Nothing is shared without your written consent and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Can I visit a session as a supporter?
Reader Champions can join our live showcases by video. In person visits are arranged with the team ahead of time so a facilitator can host you.
Can I get a receipt for my gift?
Yes. Every gift gets an email receipt. Reader Champions also get a yearly giving statement.
